Swimming Community offers several great competitions throughout the year. All races are virtual - you can compete in your own pool, local roads, tracks etc., record your results and check you standing online. Races are intended to be motivational and often take place over several weeks. Some of the great events being offered include:
Usually held in the summer, this race takes you 89 miles from Havana Cuba to Key
West Florida. Swimmers record their workouts each day and compare their

A competition for the multi-sport athletes. This race keeps track of run,
bike and swim distances over an entire month. In the summer and winter
race, competitors accumulate 1
point for each mile run, 4 points for each mile swum and 1/4 point for each mile
biked. In the spring event, competitors accumulate 1
point for each mile run, 3 points for each mile swum and 1/3 point for each mile

the Pacific from San Diego to Catalina. This race is usually held in the

A great race for swimmers who cannot turn down a challenge! Contestants
are given a workout goal that must be completed in order to advance to the next
day. Goals will start easy in the beginning of the month and get
progressively harder by the end. This race is run in January for swimmers

This challenge looks
to see who can do the most 100s in a set. The set starts with 6X100s on
1:30 then moves to 6X100s on 1:25. Intervals for 100s drop by 5 seconds
